About Centific
Centific is a global AI data and digital-services company founded in 2020 and headquartered in Redmond, Washington. The Centific brand was introduced in January 2023 when Pactera EDGE rebranded; that date marks the name change, not the start of the underlying business.
The official rebrand announcement explains that the change did not alter the legal structure. For contributors, however, the important distinction is between the corporate brand and its worker platform: Centific's public expert and crowd projects are offered through OneForma.
AI data training work at Centific
Centific supplies data collection, labeling, human feedback and evaluation for AI systems. Projects can cover text, images, audio, video and code, with work such as search evaluation, speech recording, transcription, translation, image annotation, prompt writing, response comparison, safety review and domain-expert validation.
Centific describes OneForma as its global human-intelligence platform. It matches vetted contributors and subject experts to data collection, annotation, reinforcement learning from human feedback and model-evaluation workflows. OneForma is therefore the relevant contributor platform rather than a separate Centific worker dashboard.
What is it like to work at Centific?
People completing public crowd projects generally contract through OneForma rather than becoming Centific employees. The OneForma terms describe contributors as independent contractors. Individual corporate vacancies at Centific can use a normal employee model, but those are different from joining the AI-data contributor community.
OneForma projects vary by country, language and specialist background. Some are remote and flexible; others have location, device, time-zone or weekly-availability requirements. A project may last for a small collection batch or continue for several months. There is no reliable Centific-wide contributor rate because each OneForma opportunity sets its own pay method and amount.
Registering with OneForma or passing a certification gives you access to matching opportunities, not guaranteed work. Project volumes can fill or pause, and gaps between assignments are normal.
Recent research and platform developments
Centific’s July 2026 research highlights included a finance pilot on how expert work is evaluated for accuracy and new work with NVIDIA Cosmos 3 Edge for real-time physical AI. These examples show the company expanding beyond conventional annotation into benchmarked expert evaluation, multimodal data and production-facing AI systems. Public contributor access remains through OneForma.
Application process at Centific
Centific’s public AI-training applications are handled through a OneForma contributor account. You complete your profile, languages, country and relevant skills, then browse projects for which you are eligible. A project may require an identity check, certification, language test, résumé or subject assessment before onboarding.
The time commitment depends on the opportunity. A simple profile and certification can be short, while specialist tests or client onboarding take longer. Passing does not guarantee tasks; it makes you eligible while that project has demand. The OneForma terms identify Centific Global Solutions, Inc. as the platform owner and set the contractor relationship.
