About the role
The visual data collected will directly support ongoing technical evaluations and system improvements. We rely on accurate, natural recordings from everyday environments to ensure robust results.
You will use your smartphone or webcam to record brief video clips from your location. We provide clear, step-by-step instructions on what to capture and how to frame your shots. Once recorded, you will securely upload the files through our designated platform for review. The entire process is fully asynchronous and can be completed at your convenience.
- You will be engaged as an independent contractor.
- Opportunities can be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on needs and performance.
- Your participation will not involve access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution.
Responsibilities
- Review detailed instructions for video capture requirements.
- Record brief video clips using your smartphone or computer camera.
- Ensure all recordings meet the specified lighting and framing guidelines.
- Upload your completed video files securely to our platform.
Experience and education
We welcome individuals currently residing in Brazil who have already been contacted about this specific initiative. You must have access to a reliable camera device and a stable internet connection for uploading large files. Previous experience with video recording tasks is helpful but not required.

- Must have been reached out to by one of our local SPLs (Leticia or Lucas).
Language requirements
- Must be fluent in both Portuguese and English.
Assessment requirements
They will complete a video recording study for this research project.
You'll start with a short screening interview.

This is a fully remote opportunity that can be completed on your own schedule.

Compensation details
$2 per hour.
