Trust and transparency
Thriveth Review Policy
This policy sets out best practices for writing a review that offers helpful, first-hand insight while safeguarding your privacy and the privacy of others.
Please take a moment to read these standards and put them into practice.
Independent by design
Independent moderation
Thriveth publishes both positive and negative experiences. Every review is assessed independently under the same rules.
Thriveth is an independent organization. Reviewed companies have no editorial or decision-making influence over reviews, ratings, or moderation. They cannot approve, edit, suppress, rank, or decide whether a review is published.
Any referral arrangement, sponsored placement, job listing, or other commercial relationship has no influence on review moderation or company ratings.
Protect people
Privacy and anonymity
Reviews must protect both the member and every other person involved.
- Do not include your name, email address, phone number, home address, account details, or other personal information.
- Leave out unusually specific dates, locations, project details, or combinations of events that could identify you.
- Do not name or describe recruiters, managers, colleagues, clients, or other people in a way that could identify them.
Share what happened
First-hand and useful
A review should help another candidate understand an application, onboarding, or work experience.
- Write only about an experience you had yourself.
- Keep your account honest, accurate, relevant, and focused on the company experience.
- Describe what you observed without presenting rumors, assumptions, or another person’s experience as fact.
Protect private work
Confidentiality
Keep private project and company information out of your review.
- Do not include confidential, proprietary, or security-sensitive information.
- Do not mention project names, client names, or information about the goal or purpose of a training project.
- Do not share private task details, prompts, datasets, guidelines, internal instructions, communications, or documents.
- When you joined a project, you accepted a contract, NDA, or project terms that can prohibit sharing this information. Publishing it could breach that agreement.
Keep it constructive
Respectful language
Reviews can be critical and direct, but they must remain polite and readable.
- No curse words, profanity, obscene language, or other foul language.
- No threats, harassment, hate speech, slurs, or sexually explicit content.
- Do not write full sentences or paragraphs in all capital letters. Normal initialisms such as AI, UK, and USA are allowed.
Keep reviews genuine
Authenticity and evidence
- No fabricated, duplicated, manipulated, incentivized, or impersonated reviews.
- If qualifying evidence is needed, provide only what Thriveth requests and remove unrelated personal information where possible.
- Evidence is reviewed privately. It is never published with the review.
Independent assessment
How moderation works
Thriveth assesses every review independently under the same standards, whether the experience is positive, mixed, or negative. Companies have no editorial or decision-making influence over reviews, ratings, or moderation.
- Thriveth checks the qualifying experience separately from the review text and rating.
- Thriveth may ask a member to remove identifying details, clarify wording, or make other changes before publication.
- A review can be declined when its experience cannot be qualified or its content does not meet this policy.
- Reports are assessed independently and do not automatically change or remove a review.
- Commercial relationships, including referrals, sponsored placements, and job listings, never affect moderation or company ratings.
