Assemble

Global remote tasks that create and evaluate multimodal AI data

What to know

About Assemble

Assemble is the contributor platform operated by South Korean AI data company EBIT Co., Ltd., which began in 2019. Assemble launched globally in 2024 and recruits remote contributors for projects involving coding, languages, STEM subjects and multimodal AI data.

AI data training work at Assemble

Assemble lists work in coding, languages, STEM and multimodal data. Multimodal means data that can combine text, images, audio or video. Tasks may ask you to label content, compare AI answers, write prompts, review code, record or inspect media, translate or apply specialist knowledge. The platform also promotes generalist opportunities where careful reading and consistent guideline use matter more than formal AI experience.

Project availability changes with customer demand. A task can require a particular language, country, qualification, device or professional background. The broad categories on the home page show what Assemble supports, not what every approved contributor will receive at the same time.

What is it like to work at Assemble?

You participate remotely as a tasker or independent contributor. Assemble says work is flexible and can be completed from different locations, but individual projects may set quotas, deadlines or required availability. Approval of your account gives you entry to the platform, but is not a guarantee of continuous tasks.

Assemble describes a monthly payout cycle, while the earning unit is defined per project: an invitation may pay hourly, per accepted item or for a completed batch. The project page or invitation should state that unit, its quality threshold and the cutoff for the relevant monthly payment.

Work may come in short campaigns, and there can be gaps between them. This makes Assemble more appropriate as variable project income than as a fixed schedule. Project guidelines explain the permitted country and device, while quality history and matching attributes can affect future invitations.

Application process at Assemble by EBIT

The initial application creates a tasker profile through Assemble’s “Get Started” process. You may be asked for contact and location information, languages, education or professional experience. A project can add a sample task, knowledge assessment, identity check or device test. Assemble says onboarding and sample work help determine which tasks fit you.

Passing the initial stage can place you in the tasker network without immediately assigning work. A later invitation may require project-specific guidance or calibration before production access. It can be useful to keep records of the advertised rate, payment cycle and approval rules for each project, especially when instructions are delivered outside the main information page.
