Responsibilities
- Review AI-generated content and outputs for potential bias, stereotypes, or harmful material.
- Evaluate whether AI responses are safe, fair, and appropriate for diverse audiences.
- Identify ethical concerns and document them clearly using structured feedback tools.
- Apply fairness and safety guidelines consistently across a wide range of topics and content types.
- Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule.
Required skills
- Genuinely interested in fairness, ethics, social impact, or responsible technology.
- A strong critical thinker who can assess issues from multiple perspectives.
- Attuned to nuance, cultural context, and the ways language can include or exclude.
- A clear, precise written communicator who can articulate reasoning effectively.
- Self-motivated and reliable when working independently.
Preferred skills
- Experience in social work, journalism, education, policy, or community advocacy.
- Familiarity with concepts like algorithmic bias, content moderation, or digital rights.
- Background in research, writing, or qualitative analysis.
Experience and education
- No formal background in AI, ethics, or academia required.
Schedule details
10–40 hours per week.
