Bilingual Audio Contributor (Indian/English)
We're hiring bilingual speakers of Indian languages and English as contractors to record and review the speech data those models train and evaluate on.

About the role

Responsibilities
- Record natural speech in your Indian language and English, from scripted prompts to free conversation.
- Produce code switched recordings that mirror how bilingual speakers actually talk.
- Review and correct transcriptions of recordings.
- Flag audio that sounds natural but mismatches its transcript.

Required skills
- Comfort recording your own speech and following detailed prompt specifications.
Preferred skills
- Voice over, podcasting, or audio production experience.
- Transcription or data annotation experience.
- Native level fluency in more than one Indian language.
Language requirements
- Native fluency in an Indian language and full professional fluency in English.
Equipment requirements
A quiet recording environment and a microphone that produces clean audio.
Assessment requirements

Schedule details
Fully remote, fully async. No fixed hours.
Minimum 10 hours per week, no maximum. Scale up or down week to week.
Independent contractor. Ongoing project work rather than single task batches.
Able to commit at least 10 hours per week.
Time Commitment: 10 hours/week.
Start Date: ASAP.
End Date: Ongoing.

Compensation details
- $30/hr
- $20 to $40/hr, paid weekly via Stripe. Your rate is set from your experience, not negotiated down after you start.
