Responsibilities
- Design Challenging Problems — Create advanced biochemistry questions spanning protein folding, nucleic acid chemistry, proteomics, metabolic flux, and drug-target interactions to rigorously test AI performance.
- Author Gold-Standard Solutions — Write precise, step-by-step technical responses that serve as benchmarks for high-level scientific reasoning in AI systems.
- Audit AI Outputs — Evaluate AI-generated biochemical pathways, molecular structures, and quantitative proofs for scientific accuracy and adherence to established standards.
- Identify Reasoning Failures — Spot logical errors in AI reasoning — such as incorrect stoichiometry, misapplied stereochemistry, or flawed mechanistic logic — and provide structured feedback to improve model performance.
- Work Independently — Complete task-based assignments asynchronously, on a schedule that works for you.
Required skills
- Strong foundational knowledge in one or more core areas: structural biology, enzymology, cellular metabolism, bioinformatics, or molecular genetics.
- Ability to communicate complex biochemical and chemical concepts clearly and precisely in written form.
- High attention to detail when reviewing chemical equations, molecular mechanisms, and experimental protocols.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote setting.
Preferred skills
- Experience with data annotation, quality evaluation, or scientific peer review.
- Familiarity with computational biochemistry tools such as PyMOL, AlphaFold, or BLAST.
- Background in science writing, curriculum development, or technical communication.
Experience and education
- PhD-level expertise in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a closely related discipline (completed or in final stages).
- No prior AI or data annotation experience required.
Schedule details
10–40 hours per week.

Work arrangement: Fully remote
Eligible regions: Mumbai
Compensation details
$35–$70 per hour.
