Responsibilities
- Design Advanced Problems — Craft challenging biochemistry problems across domains like nucleic acid chemistry, proteomics, structural biology, and drug-target interactions to stress-test AI performance.
- Author Ground-Truth Solutions — Develop rigorous, step-by-step technical responses that serve as gold-standard benchmarks for AI scientific reasoning.
- Audit AI Outputs — Evaluate AI-generated biochemical pathways, molecular structures, and mathematical proofs for accuracy, safety, and scientific validity.
- Refine AI Reasoning — Identify logical errors such as incorrect stoichiometry, flawed stereochemistry, or misapplied biochemical principles, and provide structured feedback to improve model performance.
Required skills
- Domain Expertise: Strong foundational knowledge in areas such as structural biology, enzymology, cellular metabolism, or bioinformatics.
- Scientific Writer: Ability to communicate complex biological and chemical concepts clearly and precisely in written form.
- Detail-Oriented: High precision when reviewing chemical equations, molecular diagrams, reaction mechanisms, and experimental protocols.
Preferred skills
- Experience with data annotation, evaluation systems, or quality assurance workflows.
- Familiarity with computational biochemistry tools such as PyMOL, AlphaFold, or BLAST.
- Background in scientific writing, peer review, or technical editing.
Experience and education
- Advanced Degree: PhD (completed or in final stages) in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a closely related discipline.
- No prior AI or machine learning experience required.
Schedule details
10–40 hours per week.

Compensation details
$35–$70 per hour.
