About the role
In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters.
Responsibilities
- Transcribe and annotate audio recordings in Cantonese and English with a high degree of accuracy and consistency.
- Review and refine automatic transcriptions, ensuring alignment with linguistic and project guidelines.
- Identify and correct language nuances, speaker accents, and contextual cues within audio samples.
- Deliver clean, time-stamped transcripts that meet specified formatting and quality standards.
- Collaborate with project leads to resolve transcription ambiguities and clarify unclear content.
- Contribute linguistic insights to improve AI training data and model performance.
- Submit deliverables according to established project timelines and milestones.
Preferred skills
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and linguistic sensitivity.
- Proficiency with transcription tools, audio playback software, and typing in both traditional and simplified Chinese.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on clarity and completeness.
- Experience reviewing or annotating linguistic data for technology, media, or research projects (a plus).
- Ability to work independently, manage assignments, and deliver high-quality results remotely.
Language requirements
- Native proficiency in Cantonese, with strong comprehension of regional dialectal variations.
- Demonstrated experience in professional audio transcription, particularly with Cantonese and English content.

Work arrangement: Fully remote
Compensation details
$20–$35 per hour.
