Responsibilities
- Author realistic electrical engineering scenarios, from requirements through design review.
- Write reference answers with the engineering reasoning behind each decision.
- Grade model output for technical accuracy and standards compliance.
- Flag designs that read plausible but would fail in practice.

Required skills
- Depth in at least one area such as power systems, embedded hardware, or circuit design.
Preferred skills
- PE license or FE certification.
- Experience across both design and testing.
- Simulation tool depth such as SPICE or MATLAB.
Experience and education
- Engineers with a degree in electrical engineering or a closely related field.
- Practitioners with at least 2 years of professional electrical engineering experience.
- Engineers with depth in at least one area such as power systems, embedded hardware, or circuit design.
- Clear writers who can document the reasoning behind an engineering decision.
- Degree in electrical engineering or a closely related field.
- 2+ years of professional electrical engineering experience.
Language requirements
- Clear written English for documenting engineering reasoning.

Written assessment. You may be asked to take a written assessment for further placement.
Onboarding. Sign the contractor agreement, connect Stripe, and get platform access.
Project match. You're matched to live work in your specialty, usually within a week of onboarding.
Schedule details
Fully remote, fully async. No fixed hours.
Minimum 10 hours per week, no maximum. Scale up or down week to week.
Able to commit at least 10 hours per week.
Time Commitment: 10 hours/week.
Start Date: ASAP.
End Date: Ongoing.

Compensation details
- $100 - $125/hr.
- $100 to $125/hr, paid weekly via Stripe. Your rate is set from your experience, not negotiated down after you start.
