We're seeking an epidemiologist for a paid pilot, with the potential to continue as the work scales.

Engagement Details

• Duration: Approximately 10–20 hours over a 1–2 week pilot.
• Remote — US-based.

Contract and Payment Terms

• You will be engaged as an independent contractor.
• This is a fully remote role that can be completed on your own schedule.
• Projects can be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on needs and performance.
• Your work at Mercor will not involve access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution.

• Create and critique rubrics that analyze commercial drugs and drug-development programs.
• Size the patient population for a given drug or indication (prevalence, incidence, diagnosed → treated → addressable).
• Judge whether a patient-population estimate is sound and well-sourced, and flag over- or under-counting.
• Apply this across the pilot's set of drugs and indications.
