Responsibilities

Scope of Work

  • Analyze legal disputes and develop comprehensive litigation strategies based on case specifics and applicable law.
  • Conduct in-depth legal research on statutes, regulations, and case law to inform project deliverables.
  • Draft and review a wide range of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs, for accuracy and relevance.
  • Assess evidence, contracts, and discovery materials to provide critical analysis and insights.
  • Provide clear written and verbal explanations of litigation principles, processes, and best practices for project use.
  • Collaborate with other legal experts to ensure solutions reflect current litigation standards and practices.
  • Deliver detailed case management recommendations and outline procedural strategies for hypothetical or real-life scenarios.

Experience and education

Preferred Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active law license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
  • Extensive experience in civil or commercial litigation, including case strategy, discovery, and motion practice.
  • Demonstrated excellence in legal research, writing, and analysis.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clarity and precision.
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail in managing multiple case assignments or deliverables.
  • Experience providing consultation or training on litigation topics is a plus.
