How to Apply — Required First Step

This application includes a short required form, the ChatGPT Power User Interest Form. It appears as a step inside the application itself — there is no external link to open.

Applications submitted without this form completed will not be considered. Please answer every question before you submit.

This opportunity has two phases. Phase one is a one-time, deliverable-based step: link/share your personal ChatGPT history and complete a short consent form. Experts who complete phase one may then be invited into phase two, which is ongoing project work on the same program. Phase two is not part of the data-sharing step.

Verification

Eligibility is confirmed by the research organization after you complete the consent form. Verification may take up to two weeks.

Contract and Payment Terms

• You will be engaged as an independent contractor.
• This is a fully remote role that can be completed on your own schedule.
• Projects can be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on needs and performance.
• Your work at Mercor will not involve access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution.

• Complete a short consent form authorizing the research organization to access your personal ChatGPT history.
• Link / share your ChatGPT history following the instructions provided.
• Provide the email address associated with your personal ChatGPT account (this may differ from your Mercor email).
• Self-verify that your account meets the eligibility criteria below (step-by-step instructions will be provided).

Work arrangement: Fully remote

Eligible countries: Mexico

• Based in Mexico.
• Native Spanish speaker.
• Have lived and studied in Mexico for at least 3–5 years.
• Your ChatGPT conversations must be primarily in Spanish.
• A heavy ChatGPT user: 40+ conversations over the past nine months.
• At least 1 saved memory on your account.
• A personal ChatGPT account that is more than 3 months old.
• Only personal ChatGPT accounts qualify. Work, employer, and enterprise accounts are out of scope for this program, as are any accounts holding proprietary or confidential material.
• Please note: We are unable to support H1-B or STEM OPT candidates at this time.

• Payments are weekly on Stripe or Wise based on services rendered.
