This is not a traditional academic or full-time role. You’ll use your advanced philosophy training to evaluate AI-generated content and provide feedback that helps AI better understand philosophy reasoning, theoretical analysis, and technical problem-solving.

This is an ongoing, project-based opportunity that can be done alongside research, teaching, postdoctoral work, or industry employment.

Placement depends on current project needs, with opportunities to be considered for future projects as they become available.

• Doctoral students and graduates (including those currently enrolled in a PhD program or in postdoctoral positions) in Philosophy or closely related fields.

• Candidates should have published at least one article on moral philosophy in a top generalist or ethics journal:

  • Philosophical Review.

  • The Journal of Philosophy.

  • Noûs

  • Philosophy and Phenomenological Research.

  • Mind

  • Ethics

  • Philosophy & Public Affairs.

  • Utilitas

  • Journal of Moral Philosophy.

Work arrangement: Fully remote

• F-1 students who are eligible for CPT or OPT may be eligible for projects on Handshake AI.
