About the role

This position combines remote work flexibility with an exciting opportunity to represent the company at in-person events in San Francisco, building relationships and enhancing talent pipelines.

Responsibilities

  • Own day-to-day recruitment operations, ensuring smooth candidate tracking, timely follow-ups, reminders, and momentum in hiring workflows.
  • Coordinate with hiring managers and candidates to manage next steps, facilitate interviews, collect feedback, and drive outstanding actions to closure.
  • Manage all candidate communications, including introductions, interview scheduling, updates, and follow-ups, ensuring a seamless candidate experience.
  • Maintain accurate records of candidate statuses, pipeline stages, and all recruiting documentation for up-to-date tracking and reporting.
  • Support standard recruiting activities, such as job postings, proactive sourcing, candidate outreach, and initial screening.
  • Continuously improve recruiting workflows, tracking systems, and operational processes to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Attend and represent the company at recruiting events in San Francisco approximately every two weeks (with potential to increase to weekly), helping turn new connections into active candidate pipelines.

Required skills

  • General understanding of candidate sourcing and recruitment processes.
  • Exceptional self-management skills, especially in remote work settings.
  • Strong stakeholder communication abilities with demonstrated experience collaborating with hiring managers and candidates.
  • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS), CRM tools, and recruitment software.
  • Meticulous attention to detail in candidate recordkeeping and process documentation.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple priorities and shifting demands.

Preferred skills

  • Familiarity with recruiting operations for high-growth tech companies or startups.

Experience and education

  • Experience in operations, talent acquisition, or a similar role.
  • Experience representing companies at networking events, career fairs, or industry meetups.

Eligibility

Work arrangement: Fully remote

Eligible regions: San Francisco

Location: Remote - (SF based).

  • Based in or near San Francisco to easily attend regular in-person recruiting events.

Compensation details

$35–$55 per hour.
