You will be matched with another participant and complete a guided, role-based conversation based on an everyday scenario.

This is not a scripted reading task. Before each session you receive a short brief describing your role, the situation, and your conversation goals. Some details may be visible only to you and not to your partner. You then speak naturally, respond in real time, and work through the situation in your own words. No acting or voice-over experience is required.

• Completing guided conversation tasks with an assigned partner, approximately 20 to 30 minutes per session plus setup time.
• Working from a short role brief provided before each session.
• Recording online through Riverside from a quiet, private room using headphones.
• Attending paired sessions scheduled in advance.

• Use a laptop or desktop computer for all recording sessions.
• Use headphones during recording sessions.
• Have a stable internet connection.
• Record from a quiet, private indoor room.
• Be able to remain in that room without interruptions for at least 30 minutes.
• Phones and tablets cannot be used for recording.

Work arrangement: Fully remote
