Responsibilities
- Research topics across a wide range of subjects — from science and history to culture, technology, and current events.
- Verify AI-generated claims and information against credible, authoritative sources.
- Cross-reference AI outputs to identify inaccuracies, outdated information, or unsupported statements.
- Document findings clearly and flag errors using structured formats and evaluation tools.
- Complete task-based assignments independently, at your own pace and on your own schedule.
Required skills
- Strong research skills — you know how to find reliable sources and evaluate their credibility.
- Detail-oriented and thorough, with a consistent and systematic approach to your work.
- Naturally skeptical — you don't take claims at face value and enjoy digging deeper.
- Clear and concise written communicator.
- Self-motivated and dependable when working independently.
Preferred skills
- Background in research, academia, journalism, library science, or communications.
- Experience with fact-checking, data analysis, or investigative work.
- Broad general knowledge spanning multiple subject areas.
- Familiarity with AI tools or content evaluation workflows.
Experience and education
- No prior AI, journalism, or professional research experience required.
Schedule details
10–40 hours per week.
