Responsibilities
- Research topics online and verify AI-generated claims against reliable, authoritative sources.
- Cross-reference AI outputs to identify factual errors, outdated information, and unsupported statements.
- Flag inaccuracies and document findings clearly using structured evaluation formats.
- Cover a diverse range of subjects — from science and history to culture, technology, and current events.
- Rate the accuracy and reliability of AI outputs using provided rubrics.
- Work independently on task-based assignments at your own pace and schedule.
Required skills
- Strong research skills — you know how to find credible sources and evaluate them critically.
- Naturally skeptical and detail-oriented — you don't take claims at face value.
- Clear and concise written communicator who can explain your reasoning.
- Self-motivated and reliable when working independently.
- Comfortable navigating a broad range of topics and subject areas.
Preferred skills
- Background in research, journalism, academia, library science, or communications.
- Experience with fact-checking, data analysis, or investigative work.
- Familiarity with source verification methods or research tools.
- Broad general knowledge across multiple subject areas.
Experience and education
- No prior AI, journalism, or research experience required.
Schedule details
10–40 hours per week.

$40–$120 per hour.
