Responsibilities
- Research topics online to verify AI-generated claims, facts, and information.
- Cross-reference AI outputs against authoritative and reliable sources.
- Flag inaccuracies, outdated data, and unsupported claims with clear documentation.
- Cover a broad range of subjects — from science, history, and culture to technology, current events, and beyond.
- Provide structured, detailed feedback using provided evaluation tools.
- Complete task-based assignments independently on your own schedule.
Required skills
- Strong research skills — you know how to find credible sources and evaluate their reliability.
- Naturally skeptical and thorough — you don't take claims at face value.
- Detail-oriented with a consistent, systematic approach to verifying information.
- Clear and concise written communicator.
- Self-motivated and reliable when working independently.
Preferred skills
- Background in research, journalism, academia, library science, or communications.
- Experience with source verification, data analysis, or investigative work.
- Broad general knowledge across multiple subject areas.
- Familiarity with fact-checking methodologies or research databases.
Experience and education
- No prior AI, journalism, or academic research experience required.
Schedule details
10–40 hours per week.

Compensation details
$40–$120 per hour.
