Responsibilities
- Author realistic agile delivery scenarios, from sprint planning through retrospectives.
- Write reference answers with the facilitation reasoning behind each intervention.
- Grade model output for agile soundness and team dynamics awareness.
- Flag advice that reads textbook correct but would harm a real team.

Required skills
- Experience facilitating the full ceremony cycle from planning through retrospectives.
- Depth in backlog management, impediment removal, and team coaching.
Preferred skills
- CSM, PSM, or SAFe certification.
- Experience coaching multiple teams or scaling agile practices.
- Background as a developer, tester, or product owner.
Experience and education
- Scrum masters with at least 2 years leading agile delivery for software teams.
- Facilitators who have run the full ceremony cycle from planning through retrospectives.
- Practitioners with depth in backlog management, impediment removal, and team coaching.
- Clear writers who can document the reasoning behind a facilitation decision.
- 2+ years as a scrum master or agile delivery lead for software teams.
Language requirements
- Clear written English for documenting facilitation and coaching reasoning.
Assessment requirements
Apply at /apply/scrum-master-expert. About five minutes. Resume plus a few structured questions.
Resume review. Every application gets read against a published rubric and gets a decision.
Written assessment. You may be asked to take a written assessment for further placement.
Onboarding. Sign the contractor agreement, connect Stripe, and get platform access.
Project match. You're matched to live work in your specialty, usually within a week of onboarding.
Schedule details
Fully remote, fully async. No fixed hours.
Minimum 10 hours per week, no maximum. Scale up or down week to week.
Able to commit at least 10 hours per week.
Time Commitment: 10 hours/week.
Start Date: ASAP.
End Date: Ongoing.

Compensation details
- $70 - $110/hr.
- $70 to $110/hr, paid weekly via Stripe. Your rate is set from your experience, not negotiated down after you start.
