Responsibilities
- Evaluate search results for relevance, accuracy, and overall usefulness to real users.
- Rate AI-generated answers and content recommendations using structured evaluation rubrics.
- Compare multiple search results and rank them by quality and appropriateness.
- Provide clear, concise written explanations to support your ratings.
- Work through task-based assignments independently at your own pace and schedule.
Required skills
- Comfortable using search engines and navigating the web with confidence.
- Able to assess content relevance and quality objectively and consistently.
- Detail-oriented with a systematic, thoughtful approach to evaluation.
- Self-motivated and reliable when working independently.
Preferred skills
- Background in research, journalism, writing, editing, or information science.
- Experience with quality assurance, content review, or critical analysis.
- Familiarity with AI tools or search platforms as an everyday user.
- Broad general knowledge across a variety of topics.
Experience and education
- No technical, AI, or professional research background required.
Language requirements
- Strong written communication skills in English.
Schedule details
10–40 hours per week.
Eligibility
Work arrangement: Fully remote
Eligible countries: South Africa
Compensation details
$40–$120 per hour.
