Responsibilities
- Record clear, natural voice samples by reading provided scripts and responding to conversational prompts.
- Vary your tone, pacing, and delivery style as directed to capture a range of speech patterns.
- Ensure recordings are clean, clear, and free of background noise.
- Complete metadata forms describing the context and characteristics of each recording.
- Participate in both scripted reading sessions and open-ended conversational recordings.
- Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule.
Required skills
- Comfortable reading aloud and being recorded.
- Reliable and consistent when working independently.
Preferred skills
- Experience in public speaking, broadcasting, podcasting, or voice-over work.
- Familiarity with audio recording equipment or software.
- Ability to take direction on delivery style and adapt quickly.
- Background in performance, education, communications, or media.
Experience and education
- No voice acting, audio engineering, or AI experience required.
Language requirements
- Clear, natural speaking voice in English.
Equipment requirements
Access to a quiet recording environment — a room with minimal echo and background noise.
A microphone or a smartphone capable of capturing good-quality audio.
Schedule details
10–40 hours per week.
Eligibility
Work arrangement: Fully remote
Eligible countries: South Korea
Compensation details
$40–$120 per hour.
