In this project, you will record natural spoken dialogue with another adult participant, capturing the way you genuinely switch between languages during real-world discussions.
This is a fully remote, one-off session that you complete from your own location. You will need a quiet environment and a device capable of making clear audio recordings. Each conversation is reviewed for quality and natural code-switching before payment is issued.
Natural code-switching data helps train AI systems to better understand and serve multilingual communities who mix languages in daily life. Your contributions directly improve speech recognition and natural language processing models, making voice assistants and translation tools more accurate and inclusive for real-world users.
Required skills
Adults 18+ who speak both English and their native language fluently and switch between them naturally in everyday conversation.
Must record with another adult participant.
Preferred skills
Diverse age range welcome; conversations are more representative when speakers of different ages take part.
Language requirements
Language: Fluent in English and in the participant’s native language, with genuine everyday code-switching between the two.

Compensation details
One-off paid session per recorded conversation, paid on completion and quality acceptance. The session rate covers a full session of 3.5 hours. A shorter session is prorated against that, so you are paid for the time you take part.
