Responsibilities
- Design Advanced Problems — Craft challenging biochemistry questions across domains like nucleic acid chemistry, proteomics, enzyme kinetics, and drug-target interactions to stress-test AI performance.
- Author Ground-Truth Solutions — Write rigorous, step-by-step technical solutions that serve as gold-standard benchmarks for high-level scientific reasoning.
- Audit AI Outputs — Evaluate AI-generated biochemical pathways, molecular structures, and mathematical reasoning for scientific accuracy and adherence to established standards.
- Refine AI Reasoning — Identify logical errors such as incorrect stoichiometry, flawed stereochemistry, or misapplied biological principles, and provide structured feedback to improve model performance.
- Work Independently — Complete assignments asynchronously on a schedule that fits your life.
Required skills
- Deep foundational knowledge in one or more core areas: structural biology, enzymology, cellular metabolism, bioinformatics, or molecular genetics.
- Able to communicate highly technical biological and chemical concepts clearly and precisely in writing.
- High attention to detail when reviewing complex chemical equations, molecular diagrams, and experimental protocols.
Preferred skills
- Experience with data annotation, quality evaluation, or academic peer review.
- Familiarity with computational biochemistry tools such as PyMOL, AlphaFold, or BLAST.
- Background in scientific writing or technical communication.
Experience and education
- Holds a PhD (completed or near completion) in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a closely related field.
- No prior AI experience required — your scientific expertise is what matters.
Schedule details
10–40 hours per week.

Eligible regions: Brisbane
Compensation details
$35–$70 per hour.
