Responsibilities
- Design Challenging Problems — Create advanced biochemistry problems spanning nucleic acid chemistry, proteomics, structural biology, and drug-target interactions to stress-test AI reasoning.
- Author Gold-Standard Solutions — Write rigorous, step-by-step technical responses that serve as benchmarks for high-level scientific reasoning in AI systems.
- Audit AI Outputs — Evaluate AI-generated biochemical pathways, molecular structures, and mathematical reasoning for technical accuracy and scientific integrity.
- Refine AI Reasoning — Identify logical errors such as incorrect stoichiometry, flawed stereochemistry, or misapplied biochemical principles, and provide structured feedback to improve model performance.
Required skills
- Deep knowledge in one or more core areas: structural biology, enzymology, cellular metabolism, bioinformatics, or molecular genetics.
- Able to communicate complex biochemical and chemical concepts clearly and precisely in written form.
- Highly detail-oriented when reviewing chemical equations, molecular diagrams, and experimental logic.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently and asynchronously.
Preferred skills
- Experience with data annotation, quality evaluation, or research review workflows.
- Familiarity with computational biochemistry tools such as PyMOL, AlphaFold, or BLAST.
- Background in scientific writing, peer review, or academic publishing.
Experience and education
- Holds a PhD (completed or in final stages) in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a closely related field.
- No prior AI or data annotation experience required.
Schedule details
10–40 hours per week.

Compensation details
$35–$70 per hour.
