Responsibilities
- Design Challenging Problems — Create advanced electrical engineering problems across domains like circuit analysis, power systems, signal processing, and electromagnetics to rigorously test AI performance.
- Author Ground-Truth Solutions — Write precise, step-by-step technical solutions that serve as benchmarks for AI learning and model evaluation.
- Audit Technical Accuracy — Review AI-generated code, circuit diagrams, and mathematical proofs for correctness, safety, and adherence to engineering standards (IEEE, NEC, etc.).
- Refine AI Reasoning — Identify flaws in AI logic and provide structured feedback to improve how models approach and solve engineering tasks.
- Stress-Test the Model — Probe AI responses on topics like embedded systems, signal processing, control systems, robotics, and engineering simulations — documenting every failure mode.
Required skills
- Strong foundational expertise in one or more core areas: VLSI, control systems, telecommunications, power electronics, or electromagnetics.
- Able to communicate highly technical concepts clearly and precisely in written form.
- Exceptionally detail-oriented when working with mathematical equations, circuit logic, and technical documentation.
- Self-directed and comfortable working independently in an async environment.
Preferred skills
- Experience with data annotation, technical writing, or evaluation systems.
- Familiarity with AI model behavior or prompt-based workflows.
- Background in standards-based engineering documentation.
Experience and education
- Pursuing or holding a Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a closely related field.
- No prior AI experience required.
Schedule details
10–40 hours per week.
Eligibility
Work arrangement: Fully remote
Eligible countries: Canada
Compensation details
$35–$60 per hour.
