Responsibilities
- Write and edit original English content across a wide range of topics, tones, and formats.
- Review AI-generated text for clarity, accuracy, grammar, structure, and consistency.
- Identify subtle errors, ambiguities, and phrasing that feels unnatural or off-brand.
- Apply detailed style guidelines with precision and consistency.
- Provide structured, actionable feedback on writing quality.
- Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule.
Required skills
- Naturally detail-oriented — you spot the typo everyone else misses.
- Comfortable evaluating writing quality across diverse topics and styles.
- Self-motivated and reliable when working independently.
Preferred skills
- Background in writing, editing, journalism, content, or communications.
- Experience with proofreading, copyediting, or quality assurance.
- Familiarity with style guides (AP, Chicago, etc.) or content platforms.
- Interest in AI and how language models work.
Experience and education
- No formal writing, editing, or AI experience required.
Language requirements
- Native or near-native English fluency with strong written communication skills.
Schedule details
10–40 hours per week.
Eligibility
Work arrangement: Fully remote
Eligible countries: Ireland
Compensation details
$40–$120 per hour.
