Responsibilities
- Craft original, diverse prompts across a wide range of topics, formats, and difficulty levels.
- Design questions, scenarios, and challenges that test AI reasoning, creativity, and accuracy.
- Develop prompts specifically aimed at surfacing weaknesses in AI responses.
- Create prompts that evaluate AI performance on safety, tone, and factual correctness.
- Follow structured style guides and prompt-writing frameworks with precision.
- Iterate and refine prompts based on feedback from project leads.
- Work independently and asynchronously on task-based assignments.
Required skills
- A creative thinker who enjoys exploring ideas across many different subjects.
- Strong writer with the ability to communicate clearly and vary your style.
- Naturally curious — you ask good questions and love finding the edges of things.
- Comfortable following detailed guidelines while still bringing your own voice.
- Self-motivated and reliable when working independently.
Preferred skills
- Background in writing, editing, journalism, education, or creative fields.
- Experience with logic puzzles, debate, philosophy, or critical thinking.
- Familiarity with AI tools or chatbots as an everyday user.
- Broad general knowledge across multiple subject areas.
Experience and education
- No prior AI, technical, or academic background required.
Schedule details
10–40 hours per week.

Compensation details
$40–$120 per hour.
