Responsibilities
- Design challenging, rigorous physics problems across domains such as mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, and quantum physics.
- Develop clear, step-by-step solutions that demonstrate precise reasoning and logical structure.
- Evaluate AI-generated responses for scientific accuracy, depth of reasoning, and quality of explanation.
- Collaborate with researchers to develop and refine benchmarks spanning undergraduate to Masters-level physics.
- Provide structured, actionable feedback that helps AI systems reason more like expert physicists.
Required skills
- Strong physics reasoning and problem-solving skills across multiple advanced domains.
- Able to communicate complex concepts clearly and concisely in writing.
- Detail-oriented with a systematic approach to quality and accuracy.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently and asynchronously.
Preferred skills
- Experience with data annotation, evaluation systems, or academic content creation.
- Familiarity with AI or machine learning concepts.
- Background in research, tutoring, or technical writing.
Experience and education
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Masters degree in Physics, Applied Physics, or a closely related field.
- No prior AI experience required.
Schedule details
10–40 hours per week.

$35–$55 per hour.
