This is a fully remote, flexible contract role open to anyone with strong writing skills and an imaginative mind. No technical background or AI experience required — just the ability to think laterally, write clearly, and ask the kinds of questions that make people (and machines) think harder.

Responsibilities
- Design original, inventive prompts across a wide range of topics, formats, and difficulty levels.
- Craft questions and scenarios specifically engineered to challenge AI reasoning, logic, and creativity.
- Write prompts that probe for accuracy, safety, nuance, and edge-case behavior.
- Follow structured style guides and prompt-writing frameworks to ensure consistency.
- Iterate and refine prompts based on project feedback and evolving research needs.
- Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule.
Required skills
- A natural creative thinker with strong written communication skills.
- Able to write clearly and engagingly across a diverse range of subjects.
- Intellectually curious — you enjoy exploring ideas, asking difficult questions, and thinking outside the box.
- Detail-oriented and comfortable working within structured guidelines.
- Self-motivated and reliable when working independently.
Preferred skills
- Background in writing, journalism, education, research, or communications.
- Experience with logic puzzles, game design, debate, or creative writing.
- Familiarity with AI tools or language models as an end user.
- Broad general knowledge across multiple subject areas.
Experience and education
- No AI, technical, or academic background required.
Schedule details
10–40 hours per week.

Work arrangement: Fully remote
Eligible countries: Japan
Compensation details
$40–$120 per hour.
