Responsibilities
- Author realistic veterinary case scenarios across species, from presentation to plan.
- Write reference answers with species specific reasoning, dosing, and differentials.
- Grade model output for diagnostic accuracy, toxicity awareness, and safety.
- Flag unsafe, out of scope, or fabricated veterinary guidance and say precisely why.

Required skills
- Depth in small animal, large animal, or mixed practice, including pharmacology and dosing.
Preferred skills
- Board certification or residency training (ACVIM, ACVECC, ACVS).
- Emergency and critical care caseload experience.
- Exotic, equine, or production animal experience.
Experience and education
- DVM or VMD with an active, unencumbered US veterinary license.
- 2+ years of clinical practice.
- Depth in small animal, large animal, or mixed practice.
- You can write clinical reasoning clearly enough for another veterinarian to follow it.

- Clear written English for documenting clinical reasoning.
Assessment requirements
Apply at /apply/veterinarian-expert. About five minutes. Resume plus a few structured questions.
Resume review. Every application gets read against a published rubric and gets a decision.
Written assessment. You may be asked to take a written assessment for further placement.
Onboarding. Sign the contractor agreement, connect Stripe, and get platform access.
Project match. You're matched to live work in your specialty, usually within a week of onboarding.
Schedule details
Fully remote, fully async. No fixed hours.
Minimum 10 hours per week, no maximum. Scale up or down week to week.
Able to commit at least 10 hours per week.
Time Commitment: 10 hours/week.
Start Date: ASAP.
End Date: Ongoing.

Compensation details
- $95 - $145/hr.
- $95 to $145/hr, paid weekly via Stripe. Your rate is set from your experience, not negotiated down after you start.
