Responsibilities
- Record clear, natural voice samples by reading provided scripts and responding to conversational prompts.
- Vary your tone, pacing, and delivery style as directed to capture a range of expressive speech.
- Ensure recordings are clean and free of background noise or audio interference.
- Complete metadata forms that describe and categorize each recording session.
- Participate in both scripted reading sessions and natural conversational recordings.
- Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule.
Required skills
- Clear, natural speaking voice — no professional training required.
- Comfortable reading aloud and being recorded.
- Reliable and self-motivated when completing task-based work independently.
Preferred skills
- Experience in podcasting, narration, teaching, broadcasting, or public speaking.
- Familiarity with basic audio recording equipment or software.
- A dedicated home recording setup or soundproofed space.
- Exposure to AI tools or voice technology as an end user.
Experience and education
- No prior voice acting, broadcasting, or AI experience required.
Equipment requirements
Access to a quiet recording environment at home or elsewhere.
A microphone, headset, or smartphone capable of capturing good audio quality.
Schedule details
10–40 hours per week.
Eligibility
Work arrangement: Fully remote
Eligible countries: Egypt
Compensation details
$40–$120 per hour.
