Responsibilities
- Design challenging, advanced biology questions to rigorously test AI reasoning and performance.
- Develop clear, step-by-step solutions with precise scientific logic.
- Evaluate AI-generated responses for accuracy, depth, and quality of reasoning.
- Identify gaps and weaknesses in AI outputs across undergraduate to Masters-level biology topics.
- Collaborate with researchers to refine evaluation benchmarks and improve model performance.
- Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule.
Required skills
- Strong scientific reasoning and problem-solving skills across advanced biology domains.
- Able to communicate complex concepts clearly and concisely in writing.
- Detail-oriented with a systematic approach to evaluation and feedback.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently.
Preferred skills
- Experience in data annotation, quality evaluation, or academic research.
- Familiarity with AI or language model workflows.
- Background spanning multiple biology subfields (e.g., molecular biology, genetics, physiology).
Experience and education
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Master's degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a closely related field.
- No prior AI experience required.
Schedule details
10–40 hours per week.
Eligibility
Work arrangement: Fully remote
Eligible countries: Canada
Compensation details
$35–$55 per hour.
