Responsibilities
- Watch short film and video clips, then break them down into structured visual beats.
- Describe camera movement, framing, shot composition, pacing, blocking, and spatial relationships.
- Capture tone, atmosphere, and emotional subtext using purely visual language — no dialogue references.
- Follow standardized formatting guidelines to produce consistent, high-quality scene summaries.
- Re-watch clips as needed to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain quality and consistency across a large volume of scene descriptions.
Required skills
- Genuinely interested in film, television, cinematography, or visual storytelling.
- Able to articulate what you see on screen in clear, precise, structured writing.
- Strong written communication skills with a natural attention to visual detail.
- Comfortable working methodically through repetitive, task-based assignments.
- Self-motivated and reliable when working independently.
Preferred skills
- Background in film studies, media production, photography, or visual arts.
- Experience writing screenplays, shot lists, or creative scene descriptions.
- Familiarity with cinematographic terminology (shot types, angles, transitions).
- Experience with content annotation or structured writing tasks.
Experience and education
- No professional film or production experience required.
Schedule details
10–40 hours per week.

Compensation details
$40–$120 per hour.
