Responsibilities
- Author realistic HIM scenarios covering privacy, release of information, and record integrity.
- Write reference answers with the regulatory reasoning behind each decision.
- Grade model output for regulatory accuracy and disclosure risk.
- Flag guidance that reads right but would breach privacy or corrupt the record.

Required skills
- Depth in release of information, privacy, record integrity, or data governance.
Preferred skills
- HIPAA privacy or security officer experience.
- EHR implementation, data migration, or registry experience.
- CDIP, CHPS, or CHDA specialty credential.
Experience and education
- RHIA or RHIT credential (AHIMA) in good standing.
- 2+ years of HIM experience in a provider, payer, or health IT setting.
- Depth in release of information, privacy, record integrity, or data governance.
- You can write policy reasoning clearly enough for another HIM professional to follow it.
- RHIA or RHIT credential (AHIMA) in good standing.

Language requirements
- Clear written English for documenting policy and compliance reasoning.
Assessment requirements

Resume review. Every application gets read against a published rubric and gets a decision.
Written assessment. You may be asked to take a written assessment for further placement.
Onboarding. Sign the contractor agreement, connect Stripe, and get platform access.
Project match. You're matched to live work in your specialty, usually within a week of onboarding.
Schedule details
Fully remote, fully async. No fixed hours.
Minimum 10 hours per week, no maximum. Scale up or down week to week.
Able to commit at least 10 hours per week.
Time Commitment: 10 hours/week.
Start Date: ASAP.
End Date: Ongoing.

Compensation details
- $70 - $95/hr.
- $70 to $95/hr, paid weekly via Stripe. Your rate is set from your experience, not negotiated down after you start.
