Responsibilities
- Design advanced physics problems spanning mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, quantum mechanics, and more.
- Develop rigorous, step-by-step solutions that demonstrate clear physical reasoning.
- Evaluate AI-generated outputs for scientific accuracy, logical consistency, and quality of reasoning.
- Collaborate with researchers to refine benchmarks across undergraduate to Masters-level physics topics.
- Provide structured, constructive feedback that helps improve AI model performance.
- Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule.
Required skills
- Strong problem-solving skills across multiple advanced physics domains.
- Able to communicate complex scientific ideas clearly and precisely in writing.
- Detail-oriented with a systematic approach to evaluating quality and correctness.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently.
Preferred skills
- Experience with data annotation, data quality assessment, or evaluation workflows.
- Background in research, tutoring, or academic writing.
- Familiarity with computational or theoretical physics.
Experience and education
- Currently pursuing or holding a Masters degree (or higher) in Physics, Applied Physics, or a closely related field.
- No prior AI experience required.
Schedule details
10–40 hours per week.
Eligibility
Work arrangement: Fully remote
Eligible regions: Perth
Compensation details
$35–$55 per hour.
