Responsibilities
- Design challenging, rigorous physics problems spanning topics like mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, and more.
- Develop clear, step-by-step solutions that demonstrate sound logical reasoning.
- Evaluate AI-generated outputs for scientific accuracy and quality of reasoning.
- Collaborate with researchers to build and refine benchmarks across undergraduate to Masters-level physics.
- Provide structured, actionable feedback that helps AI models improve.
- Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule.
Required skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills across advanced physics domains.
- Able to communicate complex concepts clearly and precisely in writing.
- Detail-oriented with a rigorous, methodical approach to evaluating solutions.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently.
Preferred skills
- Experience with data annotation, data quality assessment, or evaluation systems.
- Familiarity with AI or machine learning concepts.
- Background in academic research or technical writing.
Experience and education
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Masters degree in Physics, Applied Physics, or a closely related field.
- No prior AI experience required.
Schedule details
10–40 hours per week.
Eligibility
Work arrangement: Fully remote
Eligible regions: Dallas
Compensation details
$35–$55 per hour.
