Responsibilities
- Design challenging, well-structured physics problems spanning mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, quantum mechanics, and more.
- Develop rigorous, step-by-step solutions that demonstrate clear and accurate reasoning.
- Evaluate AI-generated responses for scientific accuracy, logical coherence, and quality of explanation.
- Collaborate with researchers to build and refine benchmarks across undergraduate to Masters-level physics.
- Provide structured, actionable feedback that helps AI models improve their scientific reasoning.
Required skills
- Strong problem-solving skills across multiple advanced physics domains.
- Able to communicate complex ideas clearly and precisely in writing.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to scientific accuracy.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently and asynchronously.
Preferred skills
- Experience with data annotation, content evaluation, or quality assessment workflows.
- Familiarity with AI or machine learning concepts.
- Background in physics education, tutoring, or academic writing.
Experience and education
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Masters degree in Physics, Applied Physics, or a closely related field.
- No prior AI experience required.
Schedule details
10–40 hours per week.
Eligibility
Work arrangement: Fully remote
Eligible regions: Vancouver
Compensation details
$35–$55 per hour.
