Responsibilities
- Write original, diverse prompts across a wide range of topics, formats, and difficulty levels.
- Design questions, scenarios, and challenges that test AI reasoning, creativity, and accuracy.
- Craft prompts specifically designed to probe AI safety and expose weaknesses.
- Follow style guides and prompt-writing frameworks to ensure consistency and quality.
- Iterate and refine prompts based on project feedback and evolving needs.
- Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule.
Required skills
- A creative thinker with strong, clear writing skills.
- Naturally curious — you enjoy exploring ideas across a broad range of subjects.
- Able to write with clarity and precision on diverse topics.
- Comfortable working within structured guidelines while still exercising creative judgment.
- Detail-oriented and consistent in your approach.
Preferred skills
- Background in writing, journalism, education, research, or communications.
- Experience with creative writing, content creation, or instructional design.
- Familiarity with AI tools or chatbots as an end user.
- Broad general knowledge across multiple subject areas.
Experience and education
- No technical background, AI experience, or formal writing credentials required.
Schedule details
10–40 hours per week.

Compensation details
$40–$120 per hour.
