Privacy Policy

1. Who is responsible for your data
Thriveth is registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 59082852 and VAT identification number NL002109795B56. Thriveth is the controller responsible for the personal data described in this policy.
Thriveth's correspondence address is Oder 20 Box D4441, 2491 DC The Hague, The Netherlands. You can contact Thriveth at info@thriveth.com.
This policy applies to thriveth.com, jobs.thriveth.com, member accounts, newsletters, job and company pages, reviews, private review evidence, and other Thriveth services that link to it.
2. What Thriveth does
Thriveth is an independent job-discovery, company-research, and member-review platform for AI data-training work. We use personal data to operate and secure the service, provide requested member features and communications, moderate reviews, administer optional referrals, comply with law, and, with consent, measure and promote the website.
Thriveth does not employ members, decide who is hired, process company applications through Thriveth, or sell member profiles.
3. Personal data we use and why
Website delivery and security. When you visit, we may process your IP address, access time, requested page, referrer, browser and device information, errors, and security events. We use this to deliver, troubleshoot, and protect the service. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a reliable and secure service.
Cookies, analytics, advertising measurement, and video. We record cookie choices so the website can respect them. With your consent, analytics and advertising-measurement services may process online identifiers, device and browser information, approximate location, pages, interactions, and campaign information. Embedded video loads only after the relevant choice. You can withdraw consent through Cookie settings. See the Cookie Policy.
Newsletter. If you subscribe, we process your email address, signup and confirmation information, subscription status, and unsubscribe or suppression status to send requested updates and maintain consent records. The legal basis is consent. You can unsubscribe from every newsletter.
Member account and features. We process your user ID, email address, display information, authentication and session data, role, timestamps, and preferences to create and secure your account. If you save jobs, create alerts, or use application follow-ups, we also process the selected jobs, search criteria, alert settings, notification records, application-link activity, and any later submission confirmation. The legal basis is performing the member agreement; security and abuse prevention also rely on our legitimate interests. Thriveth does not receive what you enter on an external company's application form.
Optional referrals. If you choose a separately disclosed referral route, the relevant company or referral service may provide Thriveth with your name, email address, application status, and approval status. We use this to reconcile referrals, prevent fraud, and administer resulting payments. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a transparent referral program and legal obligations for applicable financial records.
Reviews and private evidence. If you submit a review, we process the company and job, ratings, review text, experience details, verification status, moderation information, and timestamps. Where evidence is required, we process only what is reasonably needed to support the relationship and timeframe. We use this to moderate and publish first-hand reviews, calculate ratings, prevent manipulation, handle disputes, and enforce the Terms & Conditions. The legal bases are performing the member agreement and our legitimate interest in maintaining a trustworthy review service.
Reviews are published without the reviewer's name, email address, or account identifier. Review details may nevertheless make someone recognizable, so do not name individuals, include unnecessary personal data, or describe a uniquely identifying anecdote. Account links, evidence, and moderation information remain private.
Messages and administration. If you contact us, we process the details and attachments you provide and our correspondence to answer you, provide support, handle reports or privacy requests, resolve disputes, and comply with law. We may also process limited referral, invoice, audit, fraud, security, and legal-claim records. The legal bases are your request, the member agreement, legal obligations, and our legitimate interests in administering and protecting the business.
4. Where data comes from and what is required
Most data comes from you or is created when you use Thriveth. Account identity information may come from the sign-in service you choose. Referral information may come from the company or referral service whose optional route you selected. Technical information comes from your browser, device, and service providers.
You can browse public pages without an account. An email address and authentication are required for private member features. Required review fields and any minimum verification evidence are needed to submit an eligible review. Newsletter signup and referral routes are optional.
Do not provide identity documents, government identifiers, bank details, health information, confidential company or client material, or another person's personal data unless Thriveth specifically requests limited information through an approved secure process.
5. Who receives personal data
Personal data is shared only where needed for the purposes above. Recipients may include authorized Thriveth personnel; contracted moderators subject to confidentiality and data-protection duties; website and application hosting providers; authentication, database, and private-storage providers; analytics, advertising-measurement, and video providers after the relevant consent; newsletter and business-email providers; external companies or referral services connected with a route you choose; professional advisers and security providers; and authorities where legally required.
Service providers act under appropriate contractual terms where required. External application and referral services may also act as separate controllers under their own privacy information. Thriveth does not sell member profiles or review identities and does not share private review evidence with reviewed companies.
6. International transfers
Some service providers or their subprocessors may process personal data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where required, we rely on an applicable adequacy decision, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework for participating organizations, European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses, or another lawful transfer mechanism, with supplementary safeguards where necessary. Contact us for information about the safeguards relevant to your data.
7. How long we keep personal data
We use the periods below unless a longer period is necessary for a legal claim, security incident, fraud investigation, dispute, or legal duty.
| Data | Retention |
|---|---|
| Account, profile, saved jobs, and alerts | While the account is active; delete or anonymize from active systems within 30 days after verified closure |
| Application trail and notification records | Up to 24 months after the most recent relevant activity, or until account deletion |
| Published review | While published or until withdrawn or removed. After account deletion it remains only if the account link is irreversibly removed and the text does not reasonably identify the reviewer |
| Private review evidence | Abandoned draft: 30 days; rejected or withdrawn review: 90 days; approved review: six months after publication; delete from active systems on account deletion |
| Moderation, referral, support, and complaint records | Normally up to 24 months after the final action or relevant update |
| Privacy-request record | Minimal record for up to three years after closure |
| Newsletter subscription | Until you unsubscribe, followed by the minimum suppression record needed to honour the opt-out |
| Analytics data available to Thriveth | Two months; aggregated reports may follow the provider's separate aggregation lifecycle |
| Security logs and cookie choice | Security logs normally up to 90 days; cookie choice for the configured preference period or until changed or cleared |
| Financial and tax administration | Seven years where required by Dutch law |
Deleted information may remain inaccessible in a protected backup until the service provider's normal overwrite or deletion cycle completes.
8. Your privacy rights
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, you may have rights to information, access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, data portability, withdrawal of consent, and a complaint to a supervisory authority.
You may use available account tools or email info@thriveth.com. We normally verify a request through the signed-in account or account email and request additional identification only where reasonably necessary. We normally respond within one month and will explain any lawful extension.
You may complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority, Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl. You do not have to contact Thriveth first.
9. Account deletion and review withdrawal
You can withdraw your review, download available account data, and delete your account through the account area or by contacting us if the tools are unavailable. Account deletion removes the account connection, profile, saved jobs, alerts, application trail, unfinished reviews, and private evidence from active systems within the periods above.
A published review may remain only after its account link has been irreversibly removed and the text does not reasonably identify the reviewer. Withdraw the review before deleting the account if you do not want it to remain public.
10. Automated decisions and rankings
Thriveth does not use automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects and does not decide who is hired. Search and ranking may use visitor choices, structured job information, recency, and editorial criteria. Referral arrangements do not affect ratings or review moderation.
11. Security
We use appropriate technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal data. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Contact info@thriveth.com promptly if you believe your account or personal data is at risk.
12. Children and external websites
Member accounts are intended for people aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly create accounts for children.
Thriveth links to external company and application websites. Those organizations are responsible for the information they collect and their own privacy practices.
13. Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our service, purposes, providers, technology, or legal obligations change. We will show the new date and provide appropriate notice before a material change affecting members takes effect.
