Responsibilities
- Review AI-generated content and outputs for bias, stereotypes, and harmful material.
- Evaluate whether AI responses are safe and appropriate for diverse, real-world audiences.
- Flag ethical concerns and provide clear, structured written feedback.
- Apply fairness and safety guidelines consistently across a wide range of topics and content types.
- Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule.
Required skills
- Genuinely interested in fairness, ethics, social impact, or responsible technology.
- Strong critical thinker who can consider multiple perspectives and cultural contexts.
- Attentive to nuance — you notice what others miss.
- Culturally aware and sensitive to how content lands across different communities.
- Clear and confident written communicator.
Preferred skills
- Experience in journalism, policy, social work, education, or advocacy.
- Familiarity with AI tools or content moderation concepts.
- Background in philosophy, sociology, psychology, or related fields.
Experience and education
- No formal background in AI, ethics, or social science required.
Schedule details
10–40 hours per week.
