About the role
You'll apply your language fluency and cultural judgment to evaluate and strengthen how these models handle sensitive topics in Finnish. No prior AI/ML experience is required — we'll train you on the workflow.
Based in Finland or the wider Western Europe region. This is a preference, not a requirement — applicants based elsewhere are welcome.
Project Timeline
Start date: Immediate.
Contract and Payment Terms
- You will be engaged as an independent contractor.
- This is a fully remote role that can be completed on your own schedule.
- Projects can be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on needs and performance.
- Your work at Mercor will not involve access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution.
Responsibilities
- Write expert-level prompts in Finnish across a range of sensitive subject areas.
- Apply structured guidelines to classify prompts and conversations.
- Flag adversarial phrasings and escalation patterns, and document the reasoning behind your judgments.
Required skills
- Native or near-native fluency in Finnish, plus business-level written English.
- A bachelor's degree, completed or in progress.
- Strong written reasoning and a high level of attention to detail.
- Sound judgment around sensitive and dual-use information.
Preferred skills
- Experience reviewing, grading, or red-teaming written or technical content.
- Background in trust and safety, content moderation, policy evaluation, or adversarial testing.

Work arrangement: Fully remote

Compensation details
- Payments are weekly on Stripe or Wise based on services rendered.
