Responsibilities
- Design challenging, high-quality biology questions to test AI reasoning and knowledge.
- Develop rigorous, step-by-step solutions that demonstrate clear scientific logic.
- Evaluate AI-generated responses for accuracy, depth, and quality of reasoning.
- Collaborate with researchers to refine benchmarks spanning undergraduate to Masters-level biology.
- Provide structured written feedback to help AI systems improve over time.
Required skills
- Strong reasoning and problem-solving skills across advanced biology domains.
- Able to communicate complex scientific ideas clearly and precisely in writing.
- Detail-oriented and comfortable providing critical, structured evaluations.
- Self-motivated and reliable when working independently and asynchronously.
Preferred skills
- Experience with data annotation, evaluation systems, or academic research.
- Familiarity with AI language models or prompt design.
- Background spanning multiple biology subfields (e.g., molecular biology, genetics, ecology, physiology).
Experience and education
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Masters degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a closely related field.
- No prior AI experience required.
Schedule details
10–40 hours per week.
Eligibility
Work arrangement: Fully remote
Eligible regions: Montreal
Compensation details
$35–$55 per hour.
