Responsibilities
- Design Challenging Problems — Create advanced biochemistry problems spanning nucleic acid chemistry, proteomics, enzyme kinetics, and drug-target interactions to rigorously test AI performance.
- Author Ground-Truth Solutions — Develop precise, step-by-step technical solutions and benchmark responses that set the standard for high-level scientific reasoning in AI.
- Audit AI Outputs — Evaluate AI-generated biochemical pathways, molecular structures, and mathematical proofs for technical accuracy and adherence to scientific standards.
- Refine AI Reasoning — Identify logical errors such as incorrect stoichiometry or misunderstood stereochemistry, and provide structured feedback to improve the model's scientific thinking.
- Work Independently — Complete assignments on your own schedule, asynchronously, with full flexibility over your weekly hours.
Required skills
- Strong foundational knowledge in one or more areas: structural biology, enzymology, cellular metabolism, bioinformatics, or proteomics.
- Ability to communicate highly technical biological and chemical concepts clearly in written form.
- High attention to detail when reviewing complex chemical equations, molecular diagrams, and experimental protocols.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
Preferred skills
- Experience with data annotation, quality evaluation, or review systems.
- Familiarity with computational biochemistry tools such as PyMOL, AlphaFold, or BLAST.
- Background in scientific writing, peer review, or academic publishing.
Experience and education
- PhD (completed or in final stages) in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a closely related field.
- No prior AI experience required.
Schedule details
10–40 hours per week.
