Responsibilities
- Design rigorous, advanced biology questions to challenge and test AI performance.
- Develop clear, step-by-step solutions that demonstrate expert-level reasoning.
- Evaluate AI-generated responses for scientific accuracy and quality of logic.
- Collaborate with researchers to refine benchmarks spanning undergraduate to Master's-level biology topics.
- Provide structured written feedback that helps AI models improve over time.
Required skills
- Strong scientific reasoning and problem-solving skills across advanced biology domains.
- Able to communicate complex concepts clearly and precisely in writing.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and intellectual rigor.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently and asynchronously.
Preferred skills
- Experience with data annotation, data quality assessment, or evaluation systems.
- Familiarity with AI or machine learning workflows.
- Background spanning multiple biology sub-disciplines (e.g., molecular biology, genetics, physiology).
Experience and education
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Master's degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a closely related field.
- No prior AI experience required.
Schedule details
10–40 hours per week.
Eligibility
Work arrangement: Fully remote
Eligible countries: Ireland
Compensation details
$35–$55 per hour.
