Responsibilities
- Design challenging, advanced biology problems and questions to rigorously test AI performance.
- Develop clear, step-by-step solutions with sound scientific logic and reasoning.
- Evaluate AI-generated outputs for accuracy, depth, and quality of reasoning.
- Identify errors, misconceptions, or gaps in AI responses across biology topics.
- Collaborate with researchers to refine benchmarks spanning undergraduate through Masters-level biology.
- Provide structured, actionable feedback that drives measurable improvements in AI models.
Required skills
- Strong command of advanced biology concepts with sharp analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Able to communicate complex scientific ideas clearly and precisely in writing.
- Detail-oriented with a systematic approach to evaluating quality and accuracy.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in an asynchronous environment.
Preferred skills
- Experience with data annotation, data quality review, or evaluation frameworks.
- Familiarity with how large language models (LLMs) work.
- Background spanning multiple biology subdisciplines (e.g., cell biology, genetics, physiology, biochemistry).
Experience and education
- Pursuing or completed a Master's degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a closely related field.
- No prior AI experience required.
Schedule details
10–40 hours per week.
Eligibility
Work arrangement: Fully remote
Eligible regions: Mumbai
Compensation details
$35–$55 per hour.
