Responsibilities
- Design Advanced Problems — Create challenging, domain-specific biochemistry problems across areas like nucleic acid chemistry, proteomics, structural biology, and drug-target interactions to rigorously stress-test AI performance.
- Author Gold-Standard Solutions — Develop precise, step-by-step technical responses that serve as benchmarks for AI reasoning in life science contexts.
- Audit AI Outputs — Evaluate AI-generated biochemical pathways, molecular structures, and mathematical proofs for scientific accuracy, safety, and adherence to established standards.
- Refine AI Reasoning — Identify logical errors such as incorrect stoichiometry, flawed stereochemistry, or misapplied biochemical principles, and deliver structured feedback to improve model performance.
- Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule.
Required skills
- Have strong foundational expertise in one or more of: structural biology, enzymology, cellular metabolism, molecular genetics, or bioinformatics.
- Can communicate highly technical biological and chemical concepts clearly and concisely in writing.
- Bring a high level of precision to reviewing complex chemical equations, molecular diagrams, and experimental protocols.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently on task-based assignments.
Preferred skills
- Experience with data annotation, data quality, or evaluation workflows.
- Familiarity with computational biochemistry tools such as PyMOL, AlphaFold, or BLAST.
- Background in academic writing, scientific publishing, or technical communication.
Experience and education
- Hold a PhD (completed or in final stages) in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a closely related discipline.
- No prior AI experience required.
Schedule details
10–40 hours per week.

Compensation details
$35–$70 per hour.
