Responsibilities
- Design challenging, advanced biology questions to rigorously test AI performance.
- Develop clear, step-by-step solutions grounded in sound scientific reasoning.
- Evaluate AI-generated responses for accuracy, depth, and quality of reasoning.
- Identify gaps or errors in AI outputs and provide structured, actionable feedback.
- Collaborate with researchers to refine benchmarks spanning undergraduate to Master's-level biology topics.
- Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule.
Required skills
- Strong grasp of advanced biological concepts and scientific problem-solving.
- Able to communicate complex ideas clearly and precisely in writing.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and rigorous reasoning.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently.
Preferred skills
- Experience with data annotation, data quality assessment, or evaluation frameworks.
- Familiarity with AI or machine learning concepts.
- Background in research, academic writing, or scientific publishing.
Experience and education
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Master's degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a closely related field.
- No prior AI experience required.
Schedule details
10–40 hours per week.
Eligibility
Work arrangement: Fully remote
Eligible regions: Sheffield
Compensation details
$35–$55 per hour.
