Responsibilities
- Design challenging, advanced biology questions to rigorously test AI performance.
- Develop clear, step-by-step solutions with well-structured scientific reasoning.
- Evaluate AI-generated responses for accuracy, depth, and quality of reasoning.
- Collaborate with researchers to build and refine benchmarks spanning undergraduate to Masters-level biology topics.
- Provide structured, actionable feedback that improves AI outputs over time.
Required skills
- Strong command of advanced biology concepts and scientific reasoning.
- Able to communicate complex ideas clearly and precisely in writing.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently.
Preferred skills
- Experience with data annotation, quality evaluation, or academic assessment design.
- Familiarity with large language models or AI evaluation workflows.
- Background spanning multiple biology sub-disciplines (e.g., molecular biology, genetics, physiology).
Experience and education
- Pursuing or holding a Master's degree (or higher) in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a closely related field.
- No prior AI or data annotation experience required.
Schedule details
10–40 hours per week.
Eligibility
Work arrangement: Fully remote
Eligible regions: Glasgow
Compensation details
$35–$55 per hour.
