Responsibilities
- Design advanced biology problems and challenges to test AI reasoning capabilities.
- Develop clear, rigorous, step-by-step solutions that serve as gold-standard references.
- Evaluate AI-generated outputs for scientific accuracy, logical consistency, and quality.
- Collaborate with researchers to build and refine benchmarks spanning undergraduate to Master's-level biology topics.
- Provide structured written feedback to guide AI model improvement.
Required skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills across advanced biology domains.
- Able to communicate complex scientific concepts clearly and precisely in writing.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in an async environment.
Preferred skills
- Experience with data annotation, data quality review, or evaluation workflows.
- Familiarity with how large language models (LLMs) work.
- Background spanning multiple biology subfields (e.g., genetics, cell biology, physiology, ecology).
Experience and education
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Master's degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a closely related field.
- No prior AI experience required — your subject matter expertise is what matters.
Schedule details
10–40 hours per week.
Eligibility
Work arrangement: Fully remote
Eligible regions: Atlanta
Compensation details
$35–$55 per hour.
